One of my top faves of the night was Ashanti in this black Marchesa gown.I loved her overall look! The high slit hot even though she had a tough time keeping in closed. The makeup and hair brought her entire look perfectly together.





Alicia Keys looked absolutely elegant in this Pollini Fall 2008 dress.She gave the best performance of the whole night. The color was gorgeous on her.




And last but not least Rihanna. Not everyone can pull off this color but Rihanna definitely did.What really made the look was her simple makeup and hair and low key accessories.

Recently Kim Kardashian was wearing the same Ungaro dress Eva Longoria wore to the 2007 Golden Globe awards.I'm not really a fan of the dress period but at least Kim is trying out different designers besides Herve Ledger dresses. Now if only half the women in Hollywood would give those dresses a red carpet break!

Solange: "I Decided"

Solange's "I Decided" video came out yesterday and I haveto give Solange props for stepping out with something totally different and taking a risk. Video director Melina, who has worked with Beyonce on "Greenlight" video. ( One of my faves from the B Day album) directed " I Decided". Nice to see a female director doing her thing!
