A few months ago I splurged and purchased the Chi Flatiron and I have to say it's worth every single penny. The Chi makes your hair feel soft and silky without damaging it. It's definitely the best flat iron out there. It usually cost $100.00, but there are also other ones out there for more than $100.00, it all depends on how much you want to spend. Just be sure to never over heat your hair. Too much heat is never a good thing. You can always spray your hair prior to flatironing with a heat protecting spray. You can pick up the Chi at any beauty product store.
